Touring the Capitol

Thursday, July 3rd, 2008 at 1:30 PM

The is the group photo we took right before we toured the Capitol Building. This is the whole group . . . all 58 members!
The oldest known bust of George Washington on display in the Capitol.
Jason and Donna Weston place their foot in the center of the Capitol - which is also the center of Washington, DC. This is supposed to be good luck!
Bransford students and parents are learning about the many historical items inside the Rotunda of the Capitol Building.
Theresa and son, Grayson, are amazed at the painting in the top of the Rotunda.
Stopping to pay homage to "The Father of Texas" was a must. One of the Texas statues in Statuary Hall is Stephen F. Austin. Pictured from left to right: Chris, Bennett, Clay, Grayson, Max, William, and Trevor (Clay's friend who lives in Keller).
